The main inhabitants of the world and the most thriving of all species. These are not spirits or creatures rather just simple beings that walk the earth. Although they are the source of many problems such as pollution and war. They can be just as sinful as any other spirit, but usually they are pretty decent.

触れる - - Fureru
A wandering cursed spirit of the mountains these were usually humans who have lost their way through the thick dense woods and have had a spell cast on them. These spirits have the hardest time fitting in with the humans. Although they retain the image of their prior identity they cannot be touched by humans or their spirit will deteriorate and they will disappear. They are usually very cautious and some Fureru tend to avoid all humans to retain existence. Yet most seem to crave human contact. They wander the forest and their curse allows them to live with the mountain spirits for eternity.

動物相 - - Fauna
Taking on the appearance of humans these species have animal qualities to them. Most Fauna tend to keep their ears and tail although some; typically half-breeds do not retain their ears and tail when in the shape of a human. They have the ability to take shape as the animal they were born as but they tend to wander mostly as men or women not to draw attention to themselves in crowds. Often mistaken as shapeshifters they only have the ability to change into one animal but the attributes remain in human form. The number of tails is said to show how strong a Fauna is but this statement is not always true.

変更 -- Henkō
These species have the ability to change into whatever they please although unlike Fauna tend to lose the attributes of what they change into when they shift back into a human state. It's unknown what the true state of a Henkō is but most people tend to believe they are mostly human, just with the ability to change into anything they desire. Like fauna they tend to wander in human form. These species are much like shapeshifters.

戦い -- Tatakai
Tatakai are spirits with the ability to shift into a weapon. Since the 1700's Tatakai have been used as war weapons and battle equipment. It was only until the 1900's where Tatakai were slowly becoming less popular and were replaced with more seemingly efficient weaponry such as modern day guns, swords, and blades. There seems to be few Tatakai working with man and they have become a reserved species of spirits.

放浪者-- Hōrō-sha
Wandering endlessly in search of their other half, Hōrō-sha after death had their soul divided into two. They spent the afterlife searching for the lost half usually to spend eternity looking. The reason for the division of spirits is currently unknown . The other half contains memories and their ability to feel physical things such as emotions and the sense touch and taste. Think of it as being unable to do the things you do now half as well as you could. With them there is always a feeling of something missing. They search for their other half to wake their complete spirit. The other half is usually in the form of an object or item the Hōrō-sha held close to them when they were living. These species of spirits are tactful thieves and can conceal themselves in the shadows. They also contain the potential to copy-cat other abilities. The common use of their abilities seems to be to find their lost entity.

Manipulation of the weather is what these spirits specialize in. Although the mountains gods seem to of only allowed minor control. These spirits work together to assure significant and continuous development in the climate and natural life of where they reside. Dealing with issues such as the wind, temperature and state of the soil these spirits are essential for proper care of the land, without them winters are long, summers are too hot, and cultivation becomes a bargain.

This species is fairly common it seems. Each Yōso can control a different element, electricity, water, fire, earth. Although earth Yōso are rarely needed due to the Tenki. Yōso can also have different colours to their elements such as purple electricity, green fire. But that is essentially very rare to see.

In old folklore familiars were said to aid witches and usually takes on the form of an animal. Much like familiars Forowā have a master. Half-breeds seem to be common these days where Forowā are seen in human form. They don't always accompany witches like familiars but rather anyone retaining magical essence.

悪夢 -- Akumu
Travel dreams and the source of most nightmares these spirits can travel through people's dreams and can either provide a calming snooze or a disastrous nightmare. The severity of the dream depends on the Akumu themselves and whether or not they like to cause mischief or are calming to the mind.

誘導灯 -- Yūdō-tō
Called the guide lights of the forest these spirits become most active at night. They guide travelers safely though the dense forest but some have rumored to wander travelers astray. This all depends on the level of mischief. Yūdō-tō also have said to have the ability to wield light magic, which would make sense as to why they show off a glow at night.
予測 -- Yosoku
Not entirely considered a species, these are simply people that come from either the future or the past. How they came to the present is unknown and there are seemingly few.
悪魔 - - Akuma
Name not to be confused with Akumu these are demon species. Pledging their souls to the darkness whether these can really be considered spirits is a high debate. They can be categorized more as beasts or simply corrupted spirits. They walk the path of corruption and are usually untrustworthy although some demons have learned to control their sinful behavior and can even be seen occasionally to be less deceptive then perceived.
少し神- - Sukoshi Kami
Called the minor gods each of them have an alias as to what they rule over. There are gods of misfortune, war, wealth, and much more. Although not as recognized or worshiped as the mountain gods these minor gods try to mark their name in history.
毒素 --Dokuso
Excel well in poisons and brews. They can conjure up curses, hallucinations, and are able to read into other people and creatures' worst fears. Some Dokuso play their tricks just for some hysterical pleasure but others use their abilities to create panic and torment.
