Like starting war, Like spilling ink. Like the empty street You swore you saw Before you blinked. There's no second thought, There's no turning back. There's no calling off This avalanche. Every day, now spent Underneath white flags. Every intention, eclipsed By every stain of the past. -- there's no argument * Some say all life is, is a lucid dream. But were already dead your only dreaming of what your life was like. That's why some have nightmares, some smile in their sleep, and some can't sleep. We all have our reasoning and no one knows the real truth behind life. Everyone only has a thought about it and everyone's thought on life is different then the next. That's how Natsuki saw it at least. She thought the world was what you made it. Which is exactly like a dream, you can make a dream anything you want if you think about it and try it. Though there are some fails, some misery, and some confusion you never give up or you will never have the dream life you want. This all seems way to .. imaginative right? Yes, but that is Natsuki's way of thinking. Being she is a artist, she never saw the world the same as anyone nor did she see it in a logical manner. She saw it as she wanted to see it. She was special. But she liked to be different, she liked who she was. She was happy about what she made of her life. Though no one else saw it that way and that's why shes been bullied. So Natsuki couldn't share her dream with others, it was hidden with her and would stay that way. Letting out a soft sigh, the young female brushed a lock of her hair out of her face as she walked with her hands in her coat and her head down. She didn't know where she was going but she hated feeling trapped so she always went for walks, and that's when she realized she ended up in another area were spirits roam. A lake that was told to glow at night. She was here mid-afternoon so she wasn't sure that was to true. But she did know she wasn't alone she had a strange feeling someone else was there. Blinking with fear, Natsuki quickly climbed a tree and crouched down looking for the other living being. FukurouThere's no argument- Fairness is a ghost. these rapid eyes will keep on moving To call Fukurou a fellow living being would be... Rather flattering, in a weird way. He wasn't, per se, what the normal person would call 'alive'. How could one really be living if all they ever do is rest, and barely drag themselves over? How many years has it even been since Fukurou started living so lazily from day to day anyway? That question mattered not, as he wasn't really complaining about it or enjoying it. This dull lifestyle he sunk to, is just a method to pass time.
People said spirits dwelled in the lake. Or, well, around it. Who cares. Fukurou dragged himself slowly, the same tired posture as ever, towards the waters of this mysterious lake. He really had a reason to come here, not necessarily today too. This moment just happened to be the whim at which the tired man made his debut in the lake, completely unaware of another's presence in the area. As he walked towards the lake, Fukurou could feel a weird vibe emanated from it. Almost like the waters were calling him. ...That's just ridiculous.
His pace slowed down further as he got closer to the waters, stopped completely when the tall man stood a step away from the lake. He looked down, slightly frowning, exhausted eyes gazing into the waters, as if looking for something. And after a moment, he sighed, putting one hand over his head in frustration. A cynical chuckle made its way out of his lips. "Pfft, yeah right... As if it'd just be laying here waiting for me all this time. Wake up..." He exclaimed, turning his back on the lake.
And despite telling himself to 'wake up', he did the exact opposite: laying on the ground a few feet away from the lake, on his back so his face would face the clouds. His limbs were spread, taking in what little heat left in the air through the sun's faint rays in this area. It was... Really peaceful. Fukurou proceeded to close his eyes and steadily breath, trying to sleep. ### | @tagged | notes

Every day, now spent Underneath white flags. Every intention, eclipsed By every stain of the past. -- there's no argument * Realizing the male wasn't moving, in fact the complete opposite the female took a deep breathe in and her hazel eyes got wide. She looked around frantically for a escape path but the only other one then climbing down was to jump into the lake. Natsuki couldn't swim.. She let out another whimper and looked down at the ground where he rested his eyes. W-What?! That's not a human what the hell is that?! she thought silently to herself. Shaking her head, she grabbed her bag and hugged it to her chest as she pulled out a knife and slowly started crawling down the tree. But having the luck she did, the young female slipped and fell hard. She landed on her back with a oof and cringed in pain gripping her back as her knife went flying from her hands and into the lake. Cursing silently under her breathe. She got up wincing in pain as she dusted off and saw a few cuts and bruises. " Lovely.." she muttered and then her head shot to the side to look at where the strange human-like creature rested, her eyes wide with fear. FukurouThere's no argument- Fairness is a ghost. these rapid eyes will keep on moving This was, pretty odd. Usually Fukurou had no problems at all sleeping, not out in the open. But, something definitely got him and he felt uneasy. Even if people were around, Fukurou could soundly sleep, any time of the day, for more than enough hours, unfortunately. Not needing to eat anymore sure is troublesome... The shaggy man gave up when he heard a cry of pain after a rather strong this. There were now... Girls falling from treetops...? Was that some kinda prankster spirit? ...Probably not, very unlikely.
Fukurou got up as he followed the knife, seeing it fall to the river. Time to pay little miss treetop a visit, apparently. He came here with a purpose, albeit very much not feeling like going with it at the moment. He could go for some prank there; the sun directed the tree's shadow right over his body, serving to his advantage, meaning he could use it to conceal his whole figure and surprise the lady. ...Bah, why bother? Fukurou clicked his tongue, slowly straightening himself, looking at the odd girl. What was she doing here anyway? Why did she even pull the knife out of her bag? And moreover...
"Oi." He called out to her, showing no manners or concern for her fear. Moreover, why did she look so damn frightened? Fukurou was as normal a lazy person could get. ...Besides the animal's jaw hanging as an accessory. And the disturbingly empty aura he gave off to people here and there. At least that's what they said. He stared with his almost blankly tired eyes into her's, making eye contact despite the trouble. Maybe that'll assure her a bit more of whatever she was wary of. "It isn't nice to stare like that you know, you're hurting my feelings here.." He said, rather sarcastically. The dull tone of speech would most likely make it seem like he was dead serious, which would only bring tiring explanations to make later. But for now, Fukurou tried removing the anxiety this stranger seemed to hold. Seriously, what was it about him that freaked strangers out so much...?
Fukurou cut eye contact by closing his eyes and sitting down on the ground, almost falling down, as if his knees lost strength. But, that was pretty normal for him. ### | @tagged | notes
